Driving directions: From the airport take a left and at the roundabout take the third exit to ‘city centre’. After 2-3 kilometres, take a right at the traffic lights and follow signs for Dublin/Rosslare. Cross the river at Jurys Inn Hotel (first bridge). Turn left and stay in the centre lane. At the third bridge take a right onto Bridge Street, 200 metres later take a right onto MacCurtain Street and the hotel is 400 metres down on the left-hand side.
Most attractions in the centre of Cork are accessible on foot. Those wanting to go further afield can use the city’s bus system. Exploration of the surrounding countryside is best done by car.
