Getting there: There is a frequent bus service from the airport to the Parnell Place bus station in Cork city centre. A single ticket costs €3.70. There is a taxi rank located outside the main terminal. The cost is €20 from the airport to Lotamore House. All prices subject to change.
Driving directions: From the airport, take Airport Hill, then at the Airport Road roundabout take the first exit onto Farmers Cross (N27). At the Kinsale roundabout take the fourth exit onto the South Ring Road. Drive through Jack Lynch Tunnel and turn left onto the N25. Take the first exit at the roundabout onto Lower Glanmire Road. Turn left onto the flyover, right at the traffic lights, and right again past the Silver Springs Hotel. You will find Lotamore House on the left.
Getting around: Exploration of the countryside surrounding Cork is best done by car. Most attractions are accessible on foot from the centre of Cork. Bus Éireann operates 19 different routes in the city and to destinations further afield.
