Getting there: A frequent bus service runs from the airport to the Parnell Place bus station in Cork city centre, two kilometres from the hotel. A single ticket costs €3.70. A taxi rank is located outside the main terminal. The cost is approximately €20 to the hotel. All prices subject to change.
Driving directions: From the airport, turn left and follow the road to the traffic lights. Take the fourth exit on the left and follow the road through the Jack Lynch tunnel. After exiting the tunnel, follow signs for the city centre. Turn left off of the dual carriageway, onto the slip road for the Silversprings Exit. Continue to the flyover. At the junction, turn right and head up the hill. At the next set of traffic lights turn left. Take the next left into Middle Glanmire Road. The Montenotte Hotel is on the left.
Getting around: The hotel is located one kilometre from the nearest train station and two kilometres from Cork city centre. Most attractions are accessible on foot from the centre of Cork. Bus Éireann operates 19 different routes in the city and to destinations further afield. Exploration of the surrounding countryside is best done by car.
