Public buses are another option, with a stop one-half block from the hotel. Many guests take advantage of route 174, which brings riders to the heart of downtown Seattle for less than $5. This convenience is a blessing as traffic downtown can be difficult and parking is expensive.
Another way to reach downtown is via a Seattle Express van. For $7 one-way or $12 round-trip, guests are transported from the hotel to Pike Place Market (Fee subject to change). The trip comes complete with narration about the city's attractions, preparing visitors for a day of exploration.
