Getting there: Airport shuttle service to Hotel Deca costs $16–$25 each way. Taxis cost more than $36. Using the hotel’s preferred company, Town Car service is a flat $35 to or from the airport. (Prices subject to change.) Rental cars are available online.
Getting around: With so much to do right outside the hotel’s doors, most guests forego a rental car unless they plan extensive travel in the area. Numerous shops, ethnic restaurants, and theaters are within walking distance. Hotel Deca provides complimentary shuttle service within a four-mile radius.
For other trips, taxis are convenient; a taxi stand is just outside the hotel. Metro bus service is excellent in the University District, with a bus stop adjacent to the hotel. Express buses 71, 72, and 73 take guests to downtown Seattle in about 15 minutes for less than $5; buses leave the hotel every 10 minutes or so.
