Getting there: For less than $5, travelers can reach the hotel via Metro bus in about 60 minutes; route 194 leaves from outside baggage claim every 30 minutes, seven days a week. Get off at University Street station (in the bus tunnel) and transfer to route 13; get off at 1st Avenue & Broad Street. Shuttles are also available for $16–$25, and taxi or Town Car service costs $26–$35. Rental cars are available online.
Getting around: Within four or five blocks of this Homewood Suites by Hilton are several Seattle Center attractions, including the Monorail, which takes riders to downtown for less than $5. Once downtown, travelers can ride public buses in a large “ride-free” area that spans most of downtown, from early morning to evening.
Metro buses are available near the hotel, and fares are less than $5. Taxis are convenient for short distances and are best arranged by phone. Although rush hour traffic is heavy, it is possible to navigate the area by car; garages are generally easier to find than on-street parking. Rental cars are the best bet for travel beyond the immediate area, and are available online.
