All guestrooms have white-on-white bedding with extra-soft Thai linens, lambs-wool mattress covers, triple sheeting, and down duvets. Decor is simple and elegant, with cherry-wood furnishings. Granite-top desks come with ergonomic Davis chairs. Bathrooms feature ceiling-fed Italian pedestal tubs, walk-in showers with rainfall showerheads, and granite countertops. Large windows with electronic privacy shades adjoin the tubs and face the bedrooms or city.
Wall-mounted 40-inch LCD TVs have complimentary HBO and 5.1 surround sound. Phones include VOIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) with screens for reading personalized data, such as airline departure times, weather reports, and stock quotes. Getting there: Taxi fare is approximately $35, Town Cars are approximately $55, and shared shuttles are $25-$30. Guests traveling light can take Metro Bus No. 194 and disembark at 4th Ave and Madison, 3 blocks from the hotel. Travel time is about 30 minutes and fares are less than $3. Car rentals are available online.
Getting around: Metro buses operate free of charge in the Ride Free Zone, which encompasses most of the downtown area. Cars are a convenient way to explore outlying areas.
