Occupying a full city block in downtown Spokane, this 13-story landmark hotel first opened in 1914 and was reopened in July 2002 after a $36-million renovation that restored its ornate sky-lit lobby, carved masonry beams, and gilded woodwork. Set downtown amid arts, business, and shopping districts, it is now listed as a National Trust Historic Hotel of America and is a member of Historic Hotels of America.
The Davenport Hotel and Tower is home to Spa Paradiso (a full-service day spa) and has an indoor pool with spa tub, a 24-hour fitness room, a 24-hour business center, and several restaurants and shops.

Driving directions from Spokane International Airport: Follow the signs to I-90 E and continue to the Lincoln St exit (#280A). Turn left onto S Lincoln St. Continue about three blocks and turn right onto W First Ave. The hotel is on the left, and self-parking is available in the garage on the right. For valet parking, turn left onto S Post St.
Getting there: The hotel offers Town Car service to and from the airport. Guests must contact the hotel directly for rates and reservations. The hotel contact information will appear in the reservation confirmation e-mail. Taxis are also available for $16–$25. City buses (Route #64) run between the airport and downtown. The trip takes about 20 minutes and the bus stops within one block of the hotel. Fare: less than $5. Rental cars are another popular option and are available online. All fees subject to change without notice.
Getting around: Downtown Spokane is easy to navigate on foot, and many shops and restaurants are located nearby. The hotel also offers complimentary Town Car service within a two-mile radius, which encompasses the downtown area. Public buses leave from a central plaza, one block from the hotel. Rental cars are also convenient and are available online.
